That crowd goes wayyyyy down the block, past Bombay in Laouina, past monoprix, all the way towards Carrefour. RIP Covid numbers in 2 weeks.

Penghuinz

Its called Tunisian vaccination

cyborgosore

yeah that probably will boost the Covid numbers. but honestly looking at the situation with Mechichi getting shitfaced in Hammamet, I don't think we can do worse

the3eja1

but of corse we can do worse we'r the "peuple tunisien"

Nawfel99

Well we will get fucked eventually since the numbers of vaccinated ppl are so low (800k out of 11m) so it doesn't matter that much since they are celebrating the end (hopefully) of those whom are the number one responsible of this shortage

idyllsend7

We would all be dead before COVID does any worse than this if you been seeing the news lately and figuring out what's going on, we've received over 3 million doses of vaccine donations that weren't handed out to people man.. Either way I been there, and I don't think it's gonna contribute much, don't forget that Ennahdha done it back in February and it was bad back then, it's only reasonable that we claim our right in response to that irresponsible move.

Sir_Rinda

I like Reddit cuz almost no ignorant people here. Yepp this country is going downhill from now on! COVID numbers will skyrocket and a lot of people will die! Is that weird that am enjoying the last bit!

AddictedToThisShit

>almost no ignorant people here Lmaaaaao. That says a lot about you. Almost as much as that last comment.

Sir_Rinda

yelp! I did enjoyed these past couple weeks :3

paranoidArtsy

I mean I'm not against this or anything but it's kinda sad how the majority of them are not even wearing a mask.

Outrageous-Cry4353

Especially the disaster the country is going through

paranoidArtsy

And then people get angry at how the government applies harsh quarantine / isolation laws.

Sardonyx001

People pull dumb shit like this then ask the government to fix it. I'm 100% with dissolving the current gov but we gotta admit twensa are pretty dumb if not outright suicidal AND homicidal.

Serious-Chipmunk-872

I think most of the people are wrong. They celebrate getting rid of elnahdha which btw they have all the right to do such things but these people don't see the bad fact that we have an insane president and tbh giving all the power to an "irresponsible man" that can lead our beloved country to disaster that's not the better solution That's the definition of dictatorship and if I'm right we did a revolution to get rid of that

Knighty-Nite

Can you clarify why you think he is insane? That is not the impression I got during elections

valdidTz

Everything changed after elections. He is responsible for many bad things since 2019, do you know what he said in france?

Knighty-Nite

What are the bad things?

hrhr333

•He claimed that homosexuality is a conspiracy pushed and financed by the west. •He is against gender equality in inheritance issues.

RevolutionaryFig929

I will not support this positions, but seriously dont 80% of tunisians think exactly like this? And furthermore doesnt tunisia have other more pressing issues atm?

HaiderTN

Yeah, cause that's way more dangerous than the people who drove us into bankruptcy...

hrhr333

It gives perspective to what kind of totalitarian cunt we're dealing with.

HaiderTN

Many people are against equality in inheritence because of religion, this has nothing to do with totalitarianism He only did what the people asked

asarcasticgirl

and denies the french colonization

Gloriousdeath480

Well that first claim is nothing but true

swaggyfrosty

I'm gay but I have not gotten any money from the west yet 🤔

drSatie

Me neither, I'm actually prepared to give them money. I LOVE being gay !

Zagan_baal

Lies, hand over the money sugar daddy

hrhr333

Source: trust me bro

Gloriousdeath480

A bit of history and common sense will lead you to that obvious conclusion

zaljghoerhfozehfedze

You actually don't come to that conclusion with common sense so

hrhr333

Gloriousdeath480

Homosexuality was considered a crime( i didnt say it is) in most countries until around the mid 20th century including the UK, Australia, Germany... the first major LGBT movement started in the US in the 1950s and all this homosexuals right shit only became mainstream after the US won the cold war in about 1991, from that point on the US became the dominant culture of the world adding the emergence of the internet it became even easier to influence the world, maybe you have noticed that we are talking in english, they started promoting homosexuality in films and TV series which is an easy way to feed the audience anything, its a kind of manipulation and seduction. I personally dont give a fuck about homosexuals and what they do, i just noticed that the western plan to corrupt muslim countries is working well even in this subreddit.

asarcasticgirl

>the bad fact that we have an insane president this is the scary part that people don't seem to get. yeah we got rid of the selfish corrupt shits but now we're left with a maniac that's gonna bring back "the good old days" of dictatorship and cheap eggs and bananas

medhatsniper

Majority of people did the same thing in 2011.

How the hell are you part of that shit in 2021?

extrafinenoir

Eww

Independent_Count295

Does Tunisia put your political party affiliation in your in your ID?

SeaLion_24

covid is gonna fuck us pretty hard after this

OmarQ6

Placing all power in the hand of a single man. Well good luck with that. We are seeing the making of a new Sisi. The only flower of our spring has died.

cyborgosore

well looking at our situation I would say this is more like the transition from the IV Republic in France to the Vth one.

OmarQ6

I might be mistaken but that happened through a referendum not a coup.

sauron2403

It was basically a military coup

OmarQ6

If that's the case it is my bad. I will double check that next thing in the morning.

Extrahostile

Except the military wasn't involved

sauron2403

It absolutely was involved, it was literally started by the French military forces in Algeria, demanding the installation of De Gaulle, they invaded and occupied Corsica and threatened to invade Mainland France if De Gaulle was not put in power.

cyborgosore

no need for a referendum lol from what i'm seeing we all want this

OmarQ6

Well better get used to it. You will lose your freedom to chose anyway soon once you convert to a dictatorship. (I lived in one - all I wished for was to be able to cast my vote a single time before I die)

cyborgosore

i'm not for a dictatorship, not at all. but i think that our constitution and our voices doesn't count and are shit. basically we turned from "shut the fuck up" to "talk but you're fucked anyways". i'm curious to see how things will turn out. i'm pretty positive, and i think we'll be able to turn into a full presidential Republic or (why not) have a Parliamentary republic

RichGraverDig

I think those that are scared are just scared of everything slipping back to the "shut the fuck up" status. It all depends on what Qais does next.

Knighty-Nite

Haven't been keeping up with the new President since last elections... Seeing that he is a professor that is greatly respected and I noticed that he stood up to foreign pressure... do people there have faith in him being able to do more than the status quo, while not turning things to dictatorship? (To me Sisi always sounded like the slowest and most confused lad ever, clearly bring dictated to, so the blanket comments of "This will be another Sisi" is just a poor comparable.

idyllsend7

Referendum is a good idea, maybe it'll silence the parties and be loud and clear that we don't want them, 11 years of agony, the revolution wasn't for the people, it was a coup to establish this mess, and it can no longer be sustained.

RikoTheSeeker

You're wrong! we're making a new Sissi, we'll sell kerkenah and Djerba like Sissi sold Tiran and Sanfir to Saudi Arabia.

kimovitch7

What fucking flower boy?? How can you be so fucking stupid to actually believe we achieved anything but our ass being penetrated by cactus daily for 11 years??? what flower??? or maybe you actually think we were doing better than Egypt or any godforsaken country in this era??

OmarQ6

People who live in free/semi-free countries maybe can't feel the pain of us who live/lived under dictatorships. If you can't see your freedom to speak out, your freedom to criticise your government and your freedom to cast your vote as an achievement then there is little I can say!

idyllsend7

We all sort of lived in one if you consider Ben Ali to be a dictator, but you honestly sound oblivious, we haven't lost any right with this, but with your "freedom" and parliament we lost our dignity and our joy, to hell with your liberty if it's made that expensive, and the country isn't free mind you, if by losing power ennahdha resorts to terrorist attacks to regain lost terrain, that's not freedom, if you arrest people the night before they attend a peaceful protest, not freedom, if you dismiss the elected president from power and establish your own creative mode parliament and pretend you're casting votes(7ata kn jew 7ajet yosl7ou wa9teli sha3b je3 besh imout), not freedom, when you barricade the city to prevent people from gathering and protesting(but when ennahdha does it it's fine), not freedom, when you refuse to vaccinate your extremly low population, not freedom, when you keep a quarantine for a fucking year and still not vaccinate while politicians are operating at their maximum and earning loads of money, not freedom, and if you're killing opposition leaders who are simply too smart for you, that's mad and not freedom. And one quick word, Ben Ali wasn't perfect, but he was a lot better than this, and in 2011 he was admitting his error and wanted to fix things, but the coup was unstoppable. Don't mention dictatorship like it means death you Western prick, don't wave it at me like it's supposed to be scary, by your definition Bourguiba and Ben Ali were dictators, but they represent the golden age of Tunisia for the vast majority in spite of all the reasoning you give, your "freedom" is no freedom and it helped no one but those associated with the party for financial gains, it was a machine that runs on too much money and nothing is left for the nation even for basic investments or restructures/little improvements. In your theory Iraq Afghanistan Libya should be heaven now, but in practice it's an entirely different thing. Why do you mention Egypt instead of Morocco also? They do have a shit king who built an empire worth billions with his people's money and YET, Morocco beat us off the charts since 2011.

OmarQ6

> we haven't lost any right with this, but with your "freedom" and parliament we lost our dignity and our joy, You probably mean you lost the election? > if by losing power ennahdha resorts to terrorist attacks to regain lost terrain. Sorry what? When did it resort to terrorism? If you have evidence of this maybe go to court? Or just throwing bunch of accusations to collect empty emotions? > if you dismiss the elected president from power and establish your own creative mode parliament and pretend you're casting votes Both the parliament and the president were elected by the people. They both represent the country and both have their support base. When the power is split between two entities you are likely to end up with this type of conflicts. Italy and the USA both have similar issues. What you have just done is concentrating all three powers in the hand of a single man, like you would see in Syria, Egypt and North Korea. If you don't like your government, cast it out through election. Coup are for dictatorship. > when you refuse to vaccinate your extremly low population, not freedom, when you keep a quarantine for a fucking year and still not vaccinate while politicians are operating at their maximum and earning loads of money I like that you mentioned vaccine when Said was one of the first to refuse the vaccine. But hey we Arab like to have double standards! The UK has been in quarantine since March 2020 and they are just opening up. The Netherlands, Australia, France have all reimposed some bits of quarantines. It's a pandemic! > if you're killing opposition leaders who are simply too smart for you, that's mad and not freedom. Again Whaaat! Do you have any tangible evidence of this? > Ben Ali wasn't perfect, but he was a lot better than this, and in 2011 he was admitting his error and wanted to fix things, but the coup was unstoppable. Oh no he realised his mistake after years of oppression. what an angle he is. (Arab! We really can't do without our sweet dictator) > Don't mention dictatorship like it means death you Western prick, don't wave it at me like it's supposed to be scary, by your definition Bourguiba and Ben Ali were dictators, but they represent the golden age of Tunisia for the vast majority What golden age? Please do tell me about the achievement that were made? > in spite of all the reasoning you give, your "freedom" is no freedom and it helped no one but those associated with the party for financial gains, it was a machine that runs on too much money and nothing is left for the nation even for basic investments or restructures/little improvements. Sorry to say that but just throwing a bunch of accusations. You are being emotional and naiive. You think overthrowing your freely elected government in a coup will solve the problem? No! It will just make sure that your party is in power. --- Freedom is what separates a human from a sheep! While most want to retain their freedom some do like to be guided. I guess it is just how it is.

Allrrighty_Thenn

>If you don't like your government, cast it out through election. Coup are for dictatorship. Islamist ideology doesn't like democracy, check it out, its considered a form of shirk and kufr. Here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qre1N\_N0J7s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qre1N_N0J7s) That's why any Islamist who argues for democracy is fake, and carrying a foreign agenda to Islam itself.. Like the muslim brotherhood, your nahda guys. The whole region will go into deep shit, just like Egypt now, it's very certain. But nahda is nothing better, one wants a dictator secular rule, the other wants a dictator religious rule. Don't role play, you just like another form of dictatorship, real democracy will make people go irreligious, secular and demand more and more freedom, break all rules and start preaching for a relativist morality, this is what happened in all the democracies around the damn globe. Slow or quick. That's why this region will never like democracy anyways. Democracy simply doesn't mean the will of the majority dictated upon all minorities, this is not democracy, but this is your version of democracy. And the average Joe in Tunisia now hates how everything has been basically shit and slacking anyways, bread over "freedom"..

idyllsend7

I'm sorry I'm terminating this exchange with you, you're clearly not associated with the country and can't speak from the heart. Most of us only cast votes on the president you idiot and his power was robbed, Said hadn't vaccinated due to security concerns they want to dismiss him, and no parliament wasn't elected by the people, only their families and some bought citizens, check approval rates. For the rest I won't answer you're not worth the time. I hope we do share a drink someday standing on a common ground, but right now is a yikes.

kimovitch7

We have freedom and i love freedom. But, you know, we can't eat it can we. And, call me naive but, I don't think the Sisi route is where we're headed... I'm inclined to believe Kais respects law and democracy and this state we're in is temporary. But this is just "believing" and speculating nothing is guaranteed. Even so, dictatorship in the hands of the right person is 1000 times better than the shitshow we were living in.

HamoozR

As a Jordanian we experienced a similar change of behaviour of state and we lost our freedom and rights gradually, as well as corruption skyrocketed when everything including vital sectors were sold to France and the UAE. A dictator will always create the rich class minions of his own that he trusts, he will hand them the country as well as the UAE and French all in exchange for protection of his position and sadly you guys might suffer more.

kimovitch7

We're already rock bottom and this country was already in the grasps of french long long before

Independent_Count295

Well power was in the hand 217 people and that did not work. If it was a card deck where I have bad hand I will definitely go for a reshuffle.

[deleted]

sci_helios

Dictatorship. Pretty straightforward . Nothing personal

OmarQ6

I'm genuinely wondering if you can name one person who can protest Al Sisi or criticise his decisions? Name only one. If you can't see why Egypt is a dictatorship then there is little hope in the region.

[deleted]

[удалено]

OmarQ6

> I will not deny that you can't protest or criticise the current government. But I prefer this over MB, they really made us into 2 people. No longer "Egyptians", Us and them instead. Well your statements are contradictory. You say you can't criticise but at the same time it gives you a feeling of unity? How is that possible? In the eyes of Al-sisi you are either with him or you are a terrorist. That's is exactly what Assad thinks as well btw. > But that doesn't make Egypt fucked (the fact it isn't actually democratic), Egypt has improved in most if not all fields. Not yet (and I do hope I am wrong). Dictatorship leads to corruption and injustice which will fk you in the end. How can people not see that is beyond me! > I just don't like Egypt being looked at as a fallen nation, when in fact it's the most stable now in the region. There is no hope for development under dictatorship. Not a single one. Look at the long term goals not the short one. With that being said I do wish all the best to Egypt ❤️ and Tunisia ❤️

throwawaykame

Why is egypt always of The verge of civil unrest? From what i inderstood the cost of living keeps getting higher and the average salaries are the same or lower. Correct me if i am wrong. But I always thought that egypt has gone to shit under sissi and he is just using propaganda and keeping people silent. Every few months we hear about attempted protests in egypt. Followed by deaths and arrests. Followed by silence. So i don't think that egypt is stable. Again maybe am wrong

HakounaMatataGuy

Not totally wrong. Trust me I'm trying to be honest, I won't just go insulting my country so that the idiots downvoting me will be proud of me. Are people living at ease? Not at all. But is life overall better than 8 years ago and how it'd be like under MB? Personally I'd say 100% yes. Is Sisi silencing people? Yes? Too much? Yes. Is he not doing any good for the country, as in making our army stronger, building what was destroyed during our last 2 revolutions, stabilising the country? No, he is doing a lot of work in that, and we still have a lot to do to follow up on the years Mubarak left us sleeping while nations moved forward. And about the revolution attempts, all of them were by MB. 3amt El sha3b didn't participate. And trust me, even Sisi knows, if the real people of Egypt don't want him, he's out, no weapons, dictatorship, or anything will stop them. It's just that we accept what's going on right now as in building and what I mentioned above. And as all countries, we want to move forward instead of fake democracy supported by the U.S. that brings us nothing, sadly like many other Arab nations.

Badboy127

"And about the revolution attempts, all of them were by MB. 3amt El sha3b didn't participate." Saying all opposition and protests are ikhwan is just cope. The September protests were basically a bunch of sa3ayda in villages protesting. These people never even protested before, not even in 2011. "But is life overall better than 8 years ago" How? After the devaluation of the pound? What about the Nile River thats now fucked?

throwawaykame

Thank you for your explanation bro. I dream of a day where all nations can live at ease.

Badboy127

btw not all Egyptians think like that. Most of us hate that motherfucker sisi

Econort816

No we don’t. Most of *you* hate him.

HakounaMatataGuy

And that's how you get upvotes here in this subreddit apparently

Badboy127

Ma3lesh

OmarQ6

How is he exactly stabilising the country? He is stabilising his regime. Like Assad is currently doing. Damascus is stable but is that what stability is? It's like saying "yes the patient is stable because the patient is already dead"

idyllsend7

I don't know why you're getting downvoted to oblivion, these fools probably haven't lived in Tunisia for the past 10 years. With almost every country, the parliament is starting to become totalitarian, because the head of parliament can never be voted for president by the people, he decided to transfer all the power to him and form allies to strengthen his claim, just because you have a parliament doesn't mean you have democracy, and that place is a circus and a waste of money, they made questionable laws, manipulated the legislation and abused their immunity to literally become a bunch of criminals, who is there to stop them, and who do they need to answer for their actions to? No one, the president's power was dismissed although he's the true representative of the people, and thankfully he made use of his legal executive power to freeze that circus and bring out hidden documents to spoil several schemes. You are taking the exact same position that you do, it's a coup and we are back to dictatorship. Not true and still too early to tell you're just frightened, but I can tell you about how shit the last 10 years were and with real proof :) way worse than the dictatorship that you claim fool. You are speaking English on an American website, and America is a fully presidential republic, like it should be. It's not a dictatorship when we voted for this guy, and it's criminal to reinstore parliament or refuse to obey an executive order for your benefit, like these parties are doing, from fear.

Outrageous-Cry4353

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Econort816

Egypt is fucked????

sci_helios

Haahaha political prisoners left and right and a dictator with an ironfist . U think its fine?

OmarQ6

There is little hope in the region. It is like they are raised to worship a leader. If a coup was to occur now they will just start worshipping the next dictator. There is little you can do to wake them up.

Econort816

Political prisoners? Yes i5wan should stay jailed. Problem? Iron fist? If it was an “””iron fist””” i would’ve been in jail right now. Hahahahah

sci_helios

Honestly it is obvious it is a dictatorship and u cant just kill people for their political believe . Thats like democracy 101

Econort816

No one got killed for their political beliefs. They got executed for their actions. Ffs you’re having the same protests as we did in 30th of june. But we saw how bad they were sooner than you did. And now loom at Egypt and Tunisia. Egypt is building massive cities and jumped 90 PLACES in road quality index while Tunisia is struggling.

sci_helios

Honestly lets just agree to disagree

Econort816

Agreed

sci_helios

Btw i have nothing against egypt i hope it didnt come as an offense

AlySofian

As an Egyptian, i hope one day you get thrown in Jail and get falsly accused with terrorism charges like Egyptians do.

Econort816

Why? You think I’m i5wani? I’m not a terrorist so i won’t be charged with it. You on the other hand might.

AlySofian

Typical bala7a dick sucker

Econort816

I5wan strategy 101, when all things fail, result to conspiracy theories or 5 year old insults lmfao Who is bala7a? I don’t like dates.

AlySofian

Insults are free speech ya kosomak, you are the one who is going left and right wishing imprisonment and executions to anyone who is against your god elsisi.. fa kosomak 3adi

Econort816

Yes i wish imprisonments to terrorists. Problem? Even Tunisia is revolting against these terrorists. Again, MB tactics 101, if all things fail, bring up conspiracy theories or insults. Good job!

THICBOI22222

A fucking 50k political prisoners are all i5wanis? A7a ya 3am. Es7a b2a.

>—> Says something slightly positive about sisi >—> Spams pOlItIcAl PrIsIoNeRs, political “freedom fighters” are not doing anything except lick Western boots, even if they know well that democracy can not and will not succeed in developing countries. Sisi good, Sisi bad idgaf. You said that all of those political prisoners are literally i5wans. That doesn't sound right? Licking Western boots? Criticizing the government is now listed under your "Boot licking list". >You think europe was always advanced? No they started with dictators then slowly became democratic. Good to hear! We have been under dictatorship for over fucking 65 years. Nasser, Sadat, Mubarak. They were all power hungry corrupt fucks. Noo democracy failure!! We tried it for a single fucking year! 7 years from beloved sisi ruling the country and his fake 2020 30 jun fake promise Im not going to deny and say that he did nothing but it didn't bring not even half of what he promised and brought with it increased prices, taxes everywhere. No we need dis for development! Ok sure! . Hmm maybe give him more 3-4 years? Cool. I will come here after 4 fucking years and comment here again just to show you that nothing changed. Dictatorship is the solution!

Econort816

If you’re calling 30th june fake then 25th jan was also fake. I never said critics is western bootlicking i said some specific people we both know how they are. ARE doing it and hate Egypt with passion. Not hate sisi, hate Egypt as a whole.

THICBOI22222

>If you’re calling 30th june fake then 25th jan was also fake Never called it fake. But what happened after it was a coup and the military seized power IMO. Would you mind explaining why the aftermath of june 30th isn't a coup if you say so? >ARE doing it and hate Egypt with passion. Not hate sisi, hate Egypt as a whole. Agreed, but not everyone jailed for political reasons hates egypt.

Econort816

It’s a coup, but a coup that was demanded by people, although he didn’t 100% do as the people say. People wanted him to take power by a coup and suspend the controversial constitution and make early fair elections. Sisi did 60% of that only. And the result so far is honestly not bad, even though he lied

idyllsend7

You say that and we literally have had political prisoners and assassinations with a parliament.

sci_helios

Didnt say its perfect but fuck me its waaaaaay better .

idyllsend7

I think they will or are highly considering it, even the president warned against their typical criminal behavior in his speech(for anyone wondering they spread terror and use arms to regain power) they're also trying to portray this as a coup with foreign journalists, go figure if the MI6 or CIA are still interested and see a strategic value in them to come to their aid or not, either way it's time for them to get correctly sentenced since the diplomatic immunity has been lifted and the people's money to return and be spent right on the several crippled industries and impoverished people.

lawds69

as a matter of fact historically , they are known to be ruthless murderers , they killed children in the name of this "religion" , dozens of innocent people bombed during the 80s , so if they resort to blood shed I will not be surprised

How what happened in tunisia is a military coup elaborate more and what happens after a military coup and who does it and is it with or against the people will. How is the country ran after a military coup from the top of the pyramid, to judicial power to the bottom of the pyramid. Im waiting for ur answer

ABONESR

It's straight up undemocratic. How is it not against people's will if he threw away all parliament officials who were voted to and elected by Tunisian citizens?

AddictedToThisShit

The protests that happened today and the celebration afterwards suggest that it's exactly the people's will.

ABONESR

Eygpt celebrated Sisi too. Iraq celebrated when Isis took over. I'm talking about violating democracy. Explain to me why it's not. The comment below claimed those officials were never elected which doesn't make sense

AddictedToThisShit

First of all Sisi wasn't elected nor was ISIS. They took the power by force and people thought they were saving them. Saied was voted into office, and his move was a reaction to the protests that happened today which are a result of many months of tension towards the government due to many problems including the vaccination problems. He also used an amendment from the constitution to make this move, rather than forcing it with a military and weapons. Can this all go to shit if Saied gets dictatorial thoughts ? Yes. But what we know of him so far suggests that he's the most trustworthy politician in the country at the moment. Only time will tell but this is different from Egypt and certainly from Iraq. It's possible the end result will be the same as Egypt ( although hopefully not ), but the situation itself is different.

idyllsend7

They weren't, I don't remember ever learning how to vote for parliament officials or having time for that foreign introduced bullshit, presidential elections though? That talks to me, but when you take away all the power from our president, or call it a coup when he uses his final resort thanks to a smart constitution before they modify his executive powers, you become a villain level calamity from me, and shithead.

Sardonyx001

Are you retarded? We literally had parliament elections last year wtf are you on? Did you also sleep through tarbiya madhabiya or what? We did learn about parliamentary elections. The tunisian government system was designed to not allow both the parliament and the president to have too much power, and it's literally illegal to absolve either without proper procedures. This is a literal coup (which I'm not totally again, again removing benali WAS highly unconstitutional lmao) They can't "modify" his powers without approval (EDIT: they CAN pass the law but the president can revoke it (he has a few days to do so and produced proper justification)) from the president wtf are you on read article 80 again lol if they reach no settlement then it becomes a problem

Medini_Wael

The president had no constitutional right to freeze the parliament. He was able to do it by force of the army. Therefore it is a military coup.

MoeTheSyrian

Here is your answer: Egypt.

Da7oMy

Give me the full info and arguments so i believe you

Da7oMy

Lul you couldn't prove anything so you downvoted 😂 its sad how you talk about egypt with no arguments and spread hate, that's how you reveal a delusional person to others, asking him specific questions

MoeTheSyrian

I don't have time for stupid 12 year olds like you, if you can't understand what is the situation with Egypt then get lost.

Da7oMy

But you have time to miss inform everyone cool xD

Da7oMy

Childish argument like your mindset

Da7oMy

This isn't precise talk about every sector i mentioned.

Da7oMy

Typical slogans 😂😂

Ashtarr

We can't feel more opressed than with what's been going on these past years. There was NO democracy in Tunisia. The was only corruption and injustice. As people have been saying 'we'd want anything, wether it a coup or a dictatorship, but to keep seeing the people who've destroyed this country at the top'

sheepher

How were you oppressed ?

throwawaykame

Where to begin xD The country is ruined in EVERY possible field. We have been in civil unrest for months if not years. Are you living in tunisia or just asking for an opinion?

idyllsend7

Apparemment nahdhaweya, devoid of logic 7asit'hom 3ayshin fl 5ayel of a worse Tunisia without them and expect it to work like charm, yes5aylou zboubna erheb juste nelbsou gilet w nemshiw nfajrou 5ater the afterlife is better w houma shedin fi zok om life la7abou isaybou

cyborgosore

i was oppressed seeing crime rising. seeing police creating a mafia. seeing political parties scheme to get control. seeing fucked up political "leaders" entering the Parliament with a motorcycle helmet, or beating up Tunisian security guards in an airport. seeing the head of the government telling us to stay at home and trying to control us while he be spending weekends in fancy hotels drinking whiskey. this is just a sample of what we saw during these 3 years. not to mention terrorist attacks, opposition leaders being assassinated, repressed demonstrations.

50ShadesOfWells

You're not oppressed stop speaking like leftist Americans, quit with the victim mentality

cyborgosore

we don't all live like a fucking cocksucker under Ben Ali, having villas in Gammarth or La Marsa. Plus where do u fucking see the victim mentality, i'm clearly saying that we are fighting against oppression

cyborgosore

I don't think he spitted on democracy the way Ennahdha and Mechichi did

TheHigherSpace

Oh nice apparently covid is over too I'm assuming ..

cyborgosore

Covid is temporary, Tunisia is forever lol

Sardonyx001

Well the people who are gonna die because of this and its consequences on the healthcare infrastructure don't matter i guess.

Tunisoft_SKIDROW

Ariana is packed as well, this is definitely going down in our nation's history.

Scary_Lawfulnesss

propaganda dont be so happy

idyllsend7

I think not. Overused term. I understand the gathering was planned on Facebook but that's because there's no more options the entire country uses that trash, but people who have attended aren't propaganda tools this time, and haven't been paid :)

hackoofr

Ennahdha and Mechichi the clown GO OUT ! People are fed up from you !

valdidTz

Kais said chose mechichi, democracy chose ennahdha and ..., what about democracy?

Allrrighty_Thenn

Democracy is kufr in Islam anyways :) Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qre1N\_N0J7s

hrhr333

I'd rather have the freedom to vote and freedom of speech than an outdated ideology created by desert dwellers. Religion has no place in a modern republic. I suggest you gtfo and preach your gospel in Egypt.

Allrrighty_Thenn

astaghfurallah you suppose to be a Muslim..

hrhr333

I know right! Surprise, surprise... The narrative is wrong.

Allrrighty_Thenn

No worries you must so alone. The non Muslims are a trivial insignificant minority anyways.

Just saying fax. Westerner white washed Redditor.

valdidTz

Ok and?

Allrrighty_Thenn

If you're a muslim wait for imam mahdy to implement true Islam. If you're a muslim brotherhood guy weep and cry.

valdidTz

Egyptian ? u have no right to talk here lol this is tunisians problem.

Allrrighty_Thenn

You mentioned muslim brotherhood and Islam. I am a muslim. I have no right to talk about Tunisia, true. But Islam is my right :)

valdidTz

Leave.

Allrrighty_Thenn

Make me :)))

valdidTz

Allrrighty_Thenn

Yes muslims should care about iman and Islam..

kimovitch7

\#Raje3ElFanta

Fakr0un

Asking for such a horrible practice to be brought back shows how immature and ignorant you are. Even if you are saying it in a joking way just grow the fuck up already.

kimovitch7

Maybe stop being a snowflake keyboard warrior and maybe don't get offended by a fucking joke and ask me to grow up at the same time. it's fucking ridiculous Go get a Fanta for yourself and calm your tits. fucking tha9afout 🤮

Serious-Chipmunk-872

What happened to elfanta?

kimovitch7

5wenjia used to love sitting on them

idyllsend7

Best we had in a decade, enough with the political assassins and criminal thieves protected by the law, they dismissed our elected president and since the start of 2021 they wanted to establish a totalitarian parliament and seize all the power, (the people's representatives don't even represent the people, they can get 14% approval rates at best) and now when the president dismissed the parliament following popular demand, the corrupt parties obviously opposed his decision, they're calling justice a coup.. And they refuse to step down, they want to rule by force, see how they can't do better than this and how this job is entertaining them and making them wealthy? Why else would you want to stay if you're clearly not needed? You never proposed anything or improved anything. A decade of rule and you're not exhausted means you never put in the effort of a leader, traitors who don't even abide by the constitution upon which this nation was built and hate that they're not holding any documents against him like he does to them to secure their interests, they haven't expected this move, they expected to milk the people and get paid over 5 times the average national wage including taxes and lots of benefits for as long as they wanted while the nation is dying because of their huge indifference and noticeable incompetence to lead or make anything better, it was about time, this is defending what we expected from the revolution, not the return of some criminal from the UK to seize power and ask for financial amendments when he already received everything to lead a leisurly comfortable life without being a greedy disgusting moron, the whole world advances, but with the circus they call parliament, we went 300 years back in only 10 years, mismanagement and utter incompetence that the people were paying for to fill the gaps, while these thieves ask for more and more reward for nothing.

Badboy127

so you dont mind Tunisia being like Egypt?

idyllsend7

Begone, 2 different societies 2 different histories, oldest they remember is pharaon, oldest we mostly know is Bourguiba, and he done okay for a dictator unlike these clowns, don't expect me to put up with shit because you present to me a worse alternative, how about terminate the bad and then see what can be done? 11 fucking years of trash, enough!

Badboy127

Sisi is worse than anyone before him, including Mubarak. Its not out of the realms of possibility that a new Tunisian dictator is worse and more authoritarian than Tunisians have ever seen before. Thats why its important that Tunisians practice extreme caution right now. Those fuckers in the gulf (especially the UAE) are trying their best to ruin Tunisia's progress since the revolution

Zayd1111

Then you are basically an animal

idyllsend7

We had a life beneath animals with your proposed shit, use valid arguments next time and try to acknowledge how many people suffered each day for years.

CelebEconomy

And you think it'll be better under a dictatorship? It'll be worse nut it'll be hidden that's all

cyborgosore

never lived under France, so I'm not legitimate to say that France oppressed me

adamridane5000

Although iam happy that some decisions will be made its definitly better than our parliment that is just dysfunctional Iam worried about the involvment of the militery

_Red__Mercy_

Let the purge begin!

ahmedemam576

Happy coup, see you in prison after some years

HandyRandy619

The large gathering with zero masks kinda gives away the IQ of the crowd. Ignorance is bliss i guess

ArabUnityForever

Not a Tunisian, but I’m getting a lot of Egypt 2013 vibes. Anybody can give either reassurance or alarm as to how we should feel about this. Positive outlook I have read somewhere the military is the military is apolitical and that Said didn’t step out of his constitutional powers. But the bad I’ve read is the association of Egypt and UAE who aren’t exactly good actors.

upuus

Pathetic, only an Arab can celebrate the end of a democracy and the return to the dictatorship that Tunisia fought hard to end. It is a big sign of a democracy health when it start its new policy by storming Al Jazeera office!

cyborgosore

Tunisians are not Arabs
